The National Rehabilitation Counseling Association (NRCA) is the oldest professional organization representing rehabilitation counselors. NRCA is devoted to facilitating the fulfillment of human potential and promoting global understanding of inclusivity, and the impact of disability.
NRCA is pleased to announce the 2022 Conference on Unification of Purpose: Disability, Diversity, and Inclusion. Following the Pandemic. Rehabilitation professionals, educators, administrators, researchers, and other stakeholders are invited attend.
Rehabilitation counselors, community rehabilitation professionals, educators, students, administrators, researchers, and other stakeholders are invited to submit a presentation proposal. Proposals and posters should have a practical and applied focus. Topics should address a specific area of rehabilitation counseling practice, research, education, best practices, or emerging issues.
This Conference is designed to encourage participants to expand their understanding of how systemic prejudice and unfair structures create injustice in relation to disability, counseling techniques, education practices, research, and community resources. We are still seeking poster presentations - application for presenters has closed.
